Description
Organized annually by the International Affairs Council (IAC), the Frank Church Symposium is a student-led event that brings together global leaders, policymakers, and scholars to discuss critical international issues. Now in its 54th year, the 2025 symposium will explore "Women Today: Politics, Perceptions, and Power" on April 3-4 at Idaho State University’s Pocatello campus and online.
More than a conference, this transformative experience gives ISU students hands-on leadership opportunities. From securing world-renowned speakers to managing logistics, they develop skills in diplomacy, public speaking, and global affairs, an experience that lasts a lifetime. This year’s keynote speaker, Kehkashan Basu, Founder-President of Green Hope Foundation & UN Human Rights Champion, brings an inspiring perspective on leadership and change. With two days of engaging discussions, the symposium fosters learning, debate, and collaboration on women’s roles worldwide.
