Description

The Gary Bartoo Student Relief Fund is a vital resource established to support students in the Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program at Idaho State University during times of unexpected financial hardship. Named in honor of Gary Bartoo, a dedicated physical therapist and longtime supporter of our programs, this fund provides emergency financial assistance to help students overcome unforeseen challenges that might otherwise hinder their educational journey. The fund can assist with urgent medical expenses, emergency housing, or transportation costs to clinical affiliation sites.

Awards of up to $500 are available to eligible third-year students who demonstrate immediate financial need and have explored other sources of assistance. Your generous contributions will ensure that students can continue their education uninterrupted, allowing them to focus on their academic and clinical success without the burden of financial stress.

Financial challenges can create significant barriers for students pursuing careers in physical and occupational therapy. The Gary Bartoo Student Relief Fund provides crucial support to students facing unexpected hardships, helping them stay on track toward graduation and their professional goals. Many students experience financial strain due to the demands of full-time coursework and clinical rotations, leaving little room to manage emergencies such as medical bills, housing insecurities, or transportation issues.

Your donations will directly impact students by alleviating these financial burdens and enabling them to focus on their education and clinical training. By supporting this fund, you are investing in the success of future healthcare professionals who will go on to serve their communities with compassion and excellence. Every contribution, no matter the size, makes a difference in ensuring that students have the support they need to achieve their dreams.
